Our StoryThe University of California, Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College have partnered together to design, develop, and construct an 'Ecotopia House' to address the affordable housing crisis in the Monterey Bay region. Students, staff, and faculty members from these colleges are working together in order to provide the Santa Cruz region with a downsized, renewable, resource efficient, and low-cost housing option. We hope that our ecotopia house can serve as a model for the development of tiny homes as an affordable, as well as eco-friendly, housing option in the Bay Area.
